All right, I am determined today to catch up on my comments/inbox :bucktooth: I sort of fell into a gloom for a while. I'm not entirely over it, but I feel better. So I feel like going through my stuff XD

new music - We're From Japan!
...they're actually from Portland. XD But they are amazing. We're From Japan! is described as post-rock instrumental; I would recommend them if you like bands like Mogwai or Explosions in the Sky, or the Death Note soundtrack.

working on a manga + conventions
I'm going to give another shot at Tokyopop's Rising Stars of Manga contest. If I lose, then I can post it online (they've added a rule that you can't post/publish your entry anywhere prior to the contest) and print it to sell with my art at conventions. By the way, I shall have a table at Kumoricon and AWA next year (I was going to do Sakurakon as well, but it turns out that my brother is getting married a few weeks before that, and I can't really afford to do both. and I'm sorry, brother getting married kind of tops an anime convention XD).

On the flipside, if I win, it will be the first time I've had a manga published 8D and I could totally use the $500-$1000 prize money. Here's hoping ;__;


and life
Like I mentioned before, I have been in sort of a gloom. Depression is something that I've sort of dealt with for as long as I can remember, and for the most part it fades into the background but every once in a while it comes out really strong. It's nothing to be concerned about, I can handle it without doing anything stupid, but I thought I would mention it to kind of explain what's been going on with me recently. So, now you know =)
