My laptop died this past week, thus the lack of updates/replies/art. I'm working on fixing it, but in the meantime I have to use other computers. It's really annoying. X)!
The good news is, I finished the Kumoricon pic and sent it in RIGHT BEFORE (like, an hour) it started acting up and died, so at least it's entered into the contest. ^o^ Talk about a stroke of good luck.
So anyway. We know it's a hardware problem, we're just trying to figure out which hardware (because diagnostics wasn't able to detect anything). The way it was acting, it was either a RAM or HD issue; we removed the RAM and it still doesn't work, so today I'm ordering a replacement HD and crossing my fingers that this will work. X)! Wish me luck.

For something to be a masterpiece, it must not only imbue a sense of regret upon completion, but also cause an undefinable longing for the fiction to be anything but. One day, I hope to create something that fits that description.
Like opening photoshop on its own or having my power supply explode and leaving my computer's butt on fire.

My old comp always LOVED to crash right when I was in the middle of working on something in photoshop, which of course I hadn't saved. XD But my newer one, the one I just fixed, it's been nothing but peaches and cream until now. :B But now it's working fine again. ^__________^

I used to work at a computer repair/building/webdesign company, in the RMA department (aka "the land of broken stuff") and I was going through the power supplies to see if any of them were still functional, and one of them blew up in my lap. XD That was the last time I ever held them while testing them. XDDDD
It wasn't the most expensive thing that could have happened; it was still $80 >_____> but compared to other things that could go wrong, it wasn't so bad. Plus, I now have double the space on my hard drive

It actually turned out for the better. I doubled my hard drive space O_____________O for the same price that I could have gotten a hard drive of the same size as my old one. XD It was silly.
